2024 Stowe Story Labs New Voices · New Mexico Screenwriting Program Application

Thank you for your interest in the 2024 New Voices · New Mexico Screenwriting Program Application.

This three-part program is designed to help emerging New Mexican screenwriters and filmmakers learn new skills and develop a film or TV script. The intent is to equip participants to turn their work into fully developed film or television scripts, to support participants in building ancillary documents, such as project one-sheets and/or mini-bibles as appropriate, and to review some approaches to getting the work out into the world. If selected to participate, there are no additional fees and both meals and lodging costs will be covered. Chosen participants will be responsible for their transportation to the Writers' Retreat. If admitted as a team (no more than two people), teams will share mentor meetings and peer group slots and will be responsible for additional lodging and food costs.

This program is sponsored by the New Mexico Film Office to support the development of New Mexican screenwriters and filmmakers. As such, application is limited to residents of New Mexico (including New Mexicans studying out-of-state), and proof of residency is required in the application.
